A few more important things before your unforgettable USA Summer 2010 start
The general instructions for your flights and the baggage allowance for the airline company you are flying with.
Please, read through the information carefully and check out the relevant links!
Please note that you should be at the airport not later than 2 hours before departure!
The regulations and policies for the hand baggage are in the file attached.
Please read information only for the airline company you are traveling with from the list below. The baggage allowance that you can carry with you onboard for the airline company you will be flying with is as follows:
1. Air France
Hand baggage allowance:
One standard baggage item that respects the following maximum dimensions:
55 cm (l) x 35 cm (w) x 25 cm (h) - including pockets, wheels, and handles and one accessory (handbag, notebook computer, camera, etc.). Maximum total weight (standard baggage + accessory): 12 kg/26.5 lb
Please note: (1 suit bag is considered a standard bag)
Checked baggage
Free checked baggage is one item of baggage, weighing 23 kg and not exceeding 158 cm/62 in. (height + length + width).

2. British airways
Hand baggage allowance:
One bag and one laptop-sized bag, handbag or briefcase you must be able to lift into the overhead locker unaided.
Your main piece of hand baggage is up to the dimensions 56cm x 45cm x 25cm,
including the handle, pockets and wheels.
 Your laptop or handbag is up to the dimensions 45cm x 36cm x 20cm, including the handle and pockets. Your laptop or handbag must fit under the seat in front of you.
Free checked baggage:
Free checked baggage is one bag up to 23 kg and the dimensions 90cm x 75cm x 43cm, including the handle, pockets and wheels.

3. KLM
Hand baggage allowance:
One bag measuring 55 x 25 x 35 cm (21.5 x 10 x 13.5 inch) (l x w x h) and one
accessorie (handbag, briefcase, camera, small laptop, or 1 other item of similar or smaller size). The sum of the dimensions may not be greater than 115 cm (45 inches), including wheels and handles. Your hand baggage, including accessories, may not exceed 12 kg (26 lbs).
Free checked baggage:
One item of check-in baggage, each max. 23 kg (50.5 lbs), max. 158 cm (62 inches) l + w + h.

4. Lufthansa
Hand baggage allowance:
One piece of hand baggage not larger than 55 x 40 x 20 cm and not weigh more than 8 kg.
Free checked baggage:
One piece of baggage max. 23kg + one pair of skis. The permitted size, which is the total of the height, width and length, may not exceed 158cm.
